INNISFIL, Ontario — The success across the province continued for Phil Givens on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway as he scored the victory in the Bone Stock feature.
The heats to open the night would see a pair of victories for Brandon Steele, as well as visits to victory lane for both Nicolas Reece and Phil Givens.
When it came time for the big show, a lot of eyes were on the No. 0 in watching Phil Givens carve his way through the traffic and find his way to the front of the field. A caution flag at Lap 12 for Cash Ireton having mechanical issues was all he needed. He got a good restart, taking the lead just two laps later. He then led the final six laps en route to victory.
The rest of the finish is unofficial as there were disqualifications in post-race technical inspection. Please refer to the track website for the full complete finish once it is made available.
Notably, though, regular front Aundrea Lusk saw her race end on the opening lap due to contact with another competitor. Cash Ireton then had a mechanical failure at Lap 12.
