Roland Goodfellow Scores First Career Combined 4 Feature Victory

SAUBLE BEACH, Ontario — After duct-taping the numbers to the car at the track, Roland Goodfellow was able to find his way to the lead, and did not look back en route to winning the Combine 4 feature at Sauble Speedway.

Pat Farrow won the first heat in front of Scott Schlueter, Laila Walser, Dustin Johnston, Julia Bos, and Payton Lewis.

Ryder White got his first career qualifier victory ahead of Roland Goodfellow, Steve Heard, Mike Brown, Mike Peterson, Mike Campbell, and Glenn Schmidt.

The third heat featured a quick caution due to an incident off of turn four involving Walser and Johnston. Pat Farrow edged out Schlueter for the daily double, followed by Bos, Johnston, Lewis, and Walser.

Steve Heard won the last qualifier in front of Goodfellow, Brown, White, Peterson, and Campbell.

Come feature time, it seemed Steve Heard had everything in order in ready to carry the momentum forward from the earlier checkered flag. Although he led the opening 10 laps, it was not his night to celebrate in victory lane.

Instead, Roland Goodfellow took the lead at that time, not looking back as he distanced himself from the field en route to his first career feature victory. Pat Farrow ran inside the top-three all race long for second, in front of Steve Heard, Scott Schlueter, and Mike Peterson. Mike Brown was sixth, ahead of Ryder White, Glenn Schmidt, Dustin Johnston, and Mike Campbell. Payton Lewis and Julia Bos rounded out the field.
