Just Foam It OSCAAR Modifieds at Sauble Speedway Preview

The Just Foam It OSCAAR Modifieds are ready to get back at it at Sauble Speedway, ready for their second event of 2023 on Saturday, June 17. Notably, the track has only produced one repeat winner in 10 previous events. Several drivers will hope that remains the same, while a couple hope to become the second to double down.

Dale Reinhart is looking for a good run to back up his solid performance at Flamboro Speedway with a sixth-place finish. He enters Sauble Speedway as a past race winner, with five top-seven finishes in six starts, including a trio of top-five’s.

Wally Wilson hopes to repeat the past success he has had in the past at Sauble Speedway, with a pair of top-10 finishes including a track-best ninth. He did not start off his season well at Flamboro, finding himself wrecked out of the event due to contact in the heats.

Jason Keen knows how to get around Sauble Speedway, as evident by a pair of top-five’s in his last three appearances. He kicked off his season with a runner-up at Flamboro Speedway.

A.J. Emms enters this weekend looking for another solid run after scoring his 10th consecutive podium in a row with a third at Flamboro Speedway. The driver of the No. 14 Modified has had success at Sauble Speedway previously, scoring a victory in 2017 to go along with a runner-up last season.

2021 series champion T.J Edwards proved he had what it took at the beach in 2021 with a runner-up finish. He could use a good run after wrecking out of the opening lap of the feature at Flamboro Speedway.

Norman Newman did not have the season opener that he would have hoped at Flamboro Speedway with a 13th-place finish. However, he has been fast at Sauble Speedway the past couple years with finishes of third and fourth.

Jake Watson is another driver that hopes to have things turned around at Sauble, as he also suffered a DNF at Flamboro Speedway. He hopes his past Sauble Speedway Mini Stock experience, combined with a sixth last season at the beach, turns things around.

Bryan Batty began to find speed last season, scoring a fourth-place finish at Flamboro for his seventh consecutive series top-10. He was fast at the beach last season, placing fifth.

Brad Pearsall was another driver who ran well at Flamboro, battling up front all race long en route to placing fifth.

Chris Milwain showed he can still run solidly with a seventh at Flamboro, backing up his sixth from the Autumn Colours Classic at Peterborough Speedway last year.

Tyler Liscum’s new car has some speed as evident by a ninth-place finish at Flamboro, which he hopes carries over to Sauble Speedway after only scoring a 14th last season.
