PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — Performing double duty once again at Peterborough Speedway, Paul Boundy put together a pair of solid runs for two top-five finishes.
Behind the wheel of the Superman Renegrade Truck, Boundy was able to place fifth and third in the pair of heat races. He carried the momentum into the feature, running inside the top-five for all 20 laps en route to a third-place finish.
He looked to replicate that performance with the Super Stock, but battled in the back half for the first heat en route to a sixth. Despite a better starting spot for the second qualifier, he faded a bit to place fifth.
Come feature time, he started off the main event strong by pacing the initial 13 laps of the event. However, the second half did not go as he planned as he faded back to a fifth-place finish.
Dating back to last year, it marks his 10 straight top-10 with the super stock, with that string including a trio of top-five’s.
Boundy Racing is proud to be supported by Circa 1818, Alma Mechanical, Port Perry Salvage, Mark Rainford AutoCentre, Rona Cobourg, Wheelhouse 10, Signworks, Krown Whitby, and Orono Country Cafe.
