Jonathan Vey Ready to Carry Early Momentum Forward

INNISFIL, Ontario — Despite fighting handling issues and mechanical problems, Jonathan Vey will head into the second weekend at Sunset Speedway following a solid starting point.

On the first night of competition in 2021, Vey started off with a fifth-place finish in the first heat, followed by a sixth in the second qualifier.

Starting 11th in the feature, Vey would drop back a spot in the first half of the event, crossing the finish line in 12th. However, a pair of disqualifications would bump him up to 10th on the final results.

Now with a top-10 in his back pocket, Vey will look to improve moving forward into the next night of competition on June 26.

Vey is proud to be supported by Munros Furnishings, Kal Tire of Barrie, Metal Supermarkets of Barrie, K-Vile Auto, SD designs, JB Landscaping, Cookstown Auto Wreckers, Gorilla Gaming, Jomo media, RPM race parts, Cw-Coops on Yonge, and Auto Trim of Barrie.
