
Now that he has the winning feeling, Dylan Holmes isn’t set to let it go as he scored his first career Signs of Innovation Mini Stock feature victory on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.
Dylan Holmes won his eighth heat of the season ahead of Tyler Seaboyer, Daniel Montanari, Samantha Shaw, Bob Phinnemore, Peter Wakeling, and Taylor Thring.
Alex Hastie picked up his first qualifier of the season ahead of Cameron McGlashan, Chandler Bos, Curtis Stewart, and Rob Wells.
Daniel Montanari won his 18th heat of the season ahead of Holmes, Shaw, Phinnemore, Seaboyer, Wakeling, and Thring.
Cameron McGlashan picked up his first qualifier of the season ahead of Stewart, Hastie, Wells, and Bos.
Come feature time, Dylan Holmes made his way through the field to score his second career feature victory. Notably, he has yet to finish outside of the top-10 this season, with top-fives in seven of the 12 races.
Current points leader Daniel Montanari placed second for his 13th top-five of the season, followed by Tyler Seaboyer in third with his 12th top-five as his worst finish this year is sixth. Samantha Shaw finished fourth for her 12th top-five as her worst finish this year is also sixth, with Cameron McGlashan rounding out the top-five.
Alex Hastie placed sixth for his fifth top-10 in five starts this year, followed by Bob Phinnemore, Chandler Bos, Taylor Thring, and Peter Wakeling. Notably, that marks Thring’s career-best Sunset Speedway finish. Rob Wells finished 11th with Eric Rainey and Curtis Stewart rounding out the field.
