Following mechanical issues a couple weeks ago, Zac Sprung has rebounded at Sauble Speedway as he picked up a top-10 finish on Saturday night at Sauble Speedway.
The Sprung Motorsports driver started off the night with a pair of third-place finishes in his heats, giving him confidence entering the feature. He then battled hard throughout the entire event en route to posting a solid eighth-place finish despite running into a couple other minor issues.
Sprung and his team will hope to continue to working on making their program stronger, and be back at Sauble Speedway on Saturday night with hopes of a top-five finish.
While his eyes are set on having success, he’s also raising money for Camp Bucko, which stands for “Burn Camp for Kids.” It is a place for children who have been involved in traumatic accidents and fires resulting in serious burn injuries. With just one week of competition in the books, he has already raised $200 towards the year-end goal of $5000.
Be sure to stop by and see Sprung at the track, as for a minimum donation of $5, you will be allowed to autograph his racecar. Fans interested in making a donation online can do so by going to www.campbucko.ca, making sure to mention Zach Sprung #4 firefriendsfamily campaign to link it to the fundraising efforts at the track.
Sprung Motorsports is proud to be supported by Swiss chalet and Harveys of Owen Sound, Grey Bruce Meter Service, Tom Carruthers’ Property Maintenance, Pinkerton’s Carquest Wiarton, Adam’s Professional Painting, Macdonnell Excavating, Idol and Anchor Collingwood, Bear Wheel and Brake, Pro Sport Fan Shop, and Tobermory Marine.
