Unfortunately, Saturday night did not go as planned for McGlashan Motorsports with Cameron McGlashan getting caught up in a Lap 1 crash in the 25-lap feature.
McGlashan started off the night by running into problems in the first heat following contact with Stefan Woyslaw on Lap 3. He then rebounded in the second qualifier with a runner-up finish.
Starting 14th for the 25-lap feature, he began to make up ground quickly on the opening lap. However, off of turn four going three-wide with three of his competitors didn’t pan out, as contact ensued, spinning his No. 83 Mustang in front of the field, resulting in other cars hitting him, and heavy front end damage to end his feature early.
For McGlashan, it ends his streak of no finishes outside of the top-10 in 2017. He will look to get back to running upfront on July 29 at Sunset Speedway.
Cameron McGlashan and McGlashan Motorsports are proud to be supported by England Enterprises, ORVAuto, Polished Automotive, Arbor Aces Tree Care Inc, M&S Metals, Orillia Metal Fabrication, Darrell Eacott’s Custom Diecast with Tammikinz Phileac, and MAK Mechanical.
