Will Gibbons Scores Heat Victory, Top-Five Feature Finish at Sauble Speedway

Will Gibbons and his brand new CRX are certainly making quick friends with each other, as this past weekend marked another successful night of competition.

Gibbons started off the night at the front of the field, turning a pole starting position in his qualifier into his first heat victory of the 2017 season.

Ultimately, the inversion didn’t play out in his favor, though, as he had to start at the back of the field for the feature. Despite this, Gibbons was able to make his way to the front of the field, taking advantage of some “some risky, but satisfying changes to the car’s set-up” en route to a third-place finish.

Now with three solid top-10’s under his belt, the focus shifts towards keeping the momentum rolling into the fourth night of competition on July 22 at Sauble Speedway.
