Battling hard throughout the feature, Ryan Semple ran as high as third in the 30-lap feature en route to a top-10 finish this past Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.

Semple started off the night by posting a fourth and seventh in his pair of qualifying heats.

Starting mid-pack for the feature, he drove his way to the front of the field, moving into the third spot with about 10 laps to go. However, battling a tire issue, he faded in the late stages of the event en route to a seventh-place finish.

So far this season, Semple has been impressive on a weekly basis, with five top-five’s in eight races this season. He will look to capture his first feature victory of the year on July 22.
