After a couple solid seasons in the Lucas Oil Sportsman Cup Series, Black Magic Racing is changing things up a bit.
The team announced earlier this month that they’d be running the OSCAAR Modified schedule this season, with Tim Tolton behind the wheel.
“OSCAAR seems to be a well-run organization and the modified rules seem to be well enforced and offer parity for different types of engines, which is something we need right now,” the team released on their facebook.
With at least 30 years of experience behind the wheel, Tolton has driven a variety of different cars through the years, including his son Bobby Tolton’s modified at Flamboro Speedway on one occasion. The Guelph, Ontario driver knows how to get it done behind the wheel, having won six championships through the years.
The team has a car in their stable, and is now working on getting it ready for the upcoming season.
