Despite running out of fuel under green at Lap 115, @kevinharvick was able to work his way back up through the field in the closing stages of the Pure Michigan 400 and challenge for the victory. Harvick would come up short, though, finishing second for the seventh time since winning early in 2015.

Since winning at Phoenix International Raceway, the Sprint Cup Series fourth race, Harvick has posted runner-up finishes at Fontana, Texas, Richmond, Kansas, Dover, Pocono and now Michigan International Speedway on Sunday.
